The Leeds Butterflies are the talented bakers among Trust Leeds’ SRGs. The members have turned their skill at handmaking Arabic biscuits, ma’amoul, into a small business called Middle East Treats. Once in October 2020 and again in December 2020, the Butterflies joined forces with Caroline at Wolfstar PR to design a logo, flyers, and order leaflets for their small business. In October, the Butterflies hit their target of selling 20 boxes of biscuits, and in December they made a profit of £162.44. The Butterflies communicate frequently through their WhatsApp group and have weekly meetings where member Raghad translates into English for Liza.
