Syrian Sisters: SRG

United by their shared status as Syrian refugees living in England, the Syrian Sisters met and formed an SRG in Huddersfield. Their SRG lasted for nine months, in which the members used their crafting skills to make handmade hair bows, dubbed ‘SisterBows’, and chunky beaded jewellery. They participated in a few market stalls, selling their handmade goods. When two of the members had babies, the Syrian Sisters decided to go their separate ways, but still keep in touch to offer each other support and a friendly ear.
