A Virtual SRG Village Show!

Following the outbreak of Coronavirus and subsequent social isolation, many traditional spring and summer activities have had to be put on hold this year. Whilst we’re still not able to jet off abroad or enjoy a staycation, there is one thing we can do—a virtual Village Show! Whether you are part of an SRG, interested in joining an SRG, or simply want to get involved and have some fun, the virtual summer Show is the perfect opportunity to connect and show off your talents. Beginning on the 8^th June, the first week of the Show saw Pet Show entries, Scone Baking entries, Knitted Garments and Handmade Bags, and the Best Bloom flower presentation. The competitions will span three weeks and we still have many exciting contests ahead of us, including Victoria Sponge baking, a Fancy Dress show, a Wood and Metal Work competition and so much more. Prizes include virtual rosettes, regional glory and bragging rights for your best in show winning entries! There are competitions for children and adults, and there is sure to be a category for everyone.
