Formerly a Captain in the Duke of Wellington’s Regiment, West Riding of Yorkshire, Tim Sinclair has more than 25 years’ experience in public relations. He established multiple award-winning agency Sinclair Mason in 1986. Tim grew it to become one of the largest integrated corporate marketing communications consultancies in the UK, working with clients including BT and Visa, before its sale to Hunsworth plc.
Tim led on the formation of WOM UK, the UK’s first word of mouth association, where he was the launch and interim chief executive before standing down to concentrate on growing Wolfstar, which was established in 2007. Wolfstar was the UK’s first specialist PR consultancy with a commitment to provide dedicated counsel in PR, social media and word of mouth marketing and has the largest team of specialist PR social media consultants in the UK. Clients include Sony, Unilever and the NHS.
Tim has played an active role in many Yorkshire charities; as a trustee of Yorkshire Air Ambulance, advisor to Emmaus Leeds, and as a consultant to Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, the Red Arrows Trust and Yorkshire Cancer Research.
