LS14 Trust is the home of the Glitter Fairy’s SRG – Leeds’ first self-reliant group.
The Trust was set up in 2009 by a group of local people who wanted to work together to change the neighbourhoods that they loved across Seacroft, Swarcliffe and Whinmoor. It is supported in its work by philanthropy match-maker Leeds Community Foundation.
Today, LS14 Trust was hosting a visit from Community Foundation supporters and donors, and the Glitter Fairy’s SRG was invited to show guests what an SRG is and what a difference it makes.
As the visit was the day before the Seacroft Gala, the fairies asked visitors to help out with the sweet-packaging and making bespoke cards – it was all hands-on deck! (See picture)
A special thank you to the team at LS14 for hosting our meetings and being such great allies, and for the awesome Leeds Community Foundation which supports so much community work across our city.
